teamLab Planets TOKYO DMM in Toyosu, Tokyo was announced as the winner of the World Travel Awards for Asia’s Leading Tourist Attraction 2025. This is the second time teamLab Planets has won the said award, following its first in 2023.
teamLab Planets welcomed over 10 million visitors from more than 211 countries and regions as of October 12, 2025, just 7 years and 2 months after opening.*1
Of the total visitors, approximately 5 million were international tourists. Many came from far-reaching countries such as the United States, Australia, China/Hong Kong, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Germany, and more than 70% of visitors purchased tickets before arriving in Japan, indicating that visiting the museum was one of the reasons for their trip to Tokyo.*2
