Game-Changing Post-Apocalyptic Film & TV Series Sets Release

HOMESTEAD, an ambitious new project set to redefine the post-apocalyptic genre across both film and television

Homestead begins with a feature film premiering in theaters nationwide on December 20, 2024, followed by an intense TV action-drama series that expands the storyline in thrilling new ways.

Based on the best-selling book series Black Autumn by Jason Ross & Jeff Kirkham, which has sold over 750,000 copies, the film & TV series can be described as “The Last of Us” meets “SEAL Team.” It is set against the backdrop of a collapsing civilization and tells the gripping story of two families—the ultra-prepared wealthy family and the military veteran family they’ve hired for security—who clash in a world teetering on the brink of chaos.

At the heart of Homestead is a powerful cast led by Neal McDonough (Yellowstone, Band of Brothers), Bailey Chase (Longmire), Dawn Olivieri (1883), and Kearran Giovanni (Major Crimes), all of whom will bring this gritty survival drama to life on both the big and small screen. In the upcoming series, they’re joined by Charles Esten (Outer Banks), Jill Wagner (Lioness), and Sam Page (Mad Men), further elevating a story set against a world in collapse.
