Mike Dickman and Charlotte Jackson Coleman Star in Gripping Psychological Thriller Secrets

SECRETS, a MonkeyDribble Production, the haunting new psychological thriller, features standout performances from British actress Charlotte Jackson Coleman and emerging actor-producer Mike Dickman, as they lead a taut and emotionally complex story of trauma, truth, and survival.

Charlotte Jackson Coleman, known to UK audiences for her work on Sky Sports News, ITV’s 71 Degrees North, and The Big Quiz: Sports Special, has quickly transitioned into an acclaimed actress since 2021. Her critically praised role in A Positive Contribution earned her a Best Actress nomination at the Romford Film Festival. In Secrets, she plays Sammy—a resilient single mother who returns to her hometown after her own mother is murdered. As she tries to protect her daughter while confronting a long-buried past, Charlotte’s layered performance anchors the film with a quiet intensity and emotional power.

Starring opposite her is emerging actor Mike Dickman, whose credits include blockbuster hits like Barbie (2023), Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023), and the upcoming Gandhi (2025). In Secrets, Dickman plays a pivotal and volatile role within the unfolding mystery, bringing edge and psychological tension to the film’s narrative of generational trauma and emotional reckoning. Later this year, Dickman will also appear in Series 3 of the Netflix hit, ‘Geek Girl’ and will be entering production on feature film, Now & Then, based on the award-winning novel by William Corlett, alongside Stephen Fry and other UK luminaries.

Behind the camera, Dickman is also an accomplished producer. He co-founded Malimi Productions Ltd with Downton Abbey producer Liz Trubridge and recently launched MD Heat Films, focusing on bold, cross-genre storytelling. His producing credits include Love Is Thicker Than Water (2017), starring Jess Gunning and Johnny Flynn.

Both Dickman and Coleman deliver powerful performances that drive the emotional heart of Secrets, a film that explores how past trauma echoes through generations. With rising profiles across both studio films and independent cinema, the duo brings depth, nuance, and chemistry to a haunting, slow-burn thriller.
