The swaying branches bow in unison
Reverence to your presence and elite stardom
Briskly the wind passes your cheek
Waiting around over shadow the intent of being meek
From my vantage my eyes behold your beauty
That unmistakable reflection from a mirror I am guilty
Unconscionable for I know you belong to another
This yearning lustful feeling forces me to bother

If being covetous is a sin let me ask for forgiveness now
Let the rolling tides of compassion approach I'll bow
If the mighty sword of temptation cease cometh my way
Being guilty I'll fall on my knees and to your God I'll pray
Covered eyes does not erase your indented vision
My mind dispel the reckoning for hope you are my mission
If the starlit skies grasp your attention take a view at Mercury
Look in the background there engraved "Mine you should be"

Every time I look in your eyes that lake of tranquility
My fluttering heart sighs for its sworn to a lifetime of secrecy
Your smile that calms the violent sea each time destroys me
Guilt stricken it engulfs my wretched thoughts lulling discretely
Time creates unwanted distance like allowable torture
Every second you are in another's arm is a year of my future
The shimmering leaves are begging on my behalf
Take me away in your tranquil eyes I'll build the raft
For if wanting you is the crime of the century
Let me raise both hands now and honestly say "I'm guilty"
