TORONTO, ON (May 22, 2018) – Warm summer sunshine, toes in the sand and a drink in your hand is the only way to celebrate a decade of Toronto’s unofficial kick-off to summer at the city’s best beach bash, the Wine & Spirit Festival.

Each year the festival supplies visitors with cold drinks, lively entertainment and tasting workshops for all palates on the shores of Sugar Beach, and this year festival organizers are adding an artistic element to shoreline.

The Wine & Spirit Festival is celebrating 10 years of fun with a new art installation contest.

“Toronto is a diverse city with people from all different backgrounds and influences,” says Scott Rondeau, Wine & Spirit Festival Co-Founder. “With all that Toronto has to offer, we thought the best way to celebrate our 10th anniversary is by inviting those who love the city and the festival to share in the creation of it.”

Applicants are asked to submit their proposals here and to forward their completed application to grace@drinkinc.ca

The artist with the winning proposal will receive a grand prize of $4,000 to create their Masterpiece and will have it featured at the Wine & Spirit Festival on June 22 – 23 at Sugar Beach.

The contest runs until Thursday, May 24 at 11:59 p.m. Only one entry per candidate is permitted.

The winner will be chosen and announced on FacebookTwitter and Instagram on May 25th.
