In Antigua, there is a serene location unlike anywhere else on the island. Amongst the trees and plentiful vegetation of Lyons Estate, St Phillips, Antigua, is situated the Wadadli Animal Nature Park.

The Wadadli Animal Nature Park is a must see venue for any nature enthusiast or animal lover. But beyond that, the location provides for a difference in the experience of the Antigua and Barbuda tourism product for both locals and new comers alike.

The establishment is no more than a 10-minute sojourn outside of the capital city of St John's. Once on site the offerings include an array of animals from monkeys, rabbits, land turtles, horses, peacocks, parrots, geese, ducks, plus lots of other types of animals. Plant life is also in abundance at the Wadadli Animal Nature Park, with the vegetation groomed to maintain the aesthetic beauty of the venue, yet still not taking away from the natural feel of the park.

The park is experienced via a walking trail. Of course, there is the option to drive around the trail, but the experience is more fun doing it by foot where you can stop and view the animals properly and take pictures. The circular layout of the venue brings you back to where you started, with the entire walk around the grounds being just around 40 minutes.

The Nature Park also boasts a restaurant where food and a drink can be had once your tour is complete.

Recognising the importance of the Animal Nature Park in contributing to charitable causes, a charity event dubbed, Party with the legends of West Indies Cricket will be held on the grounds of the Nature Park on April 12, 2015.

At this event attendees will meet and mingle with Sir Vivian Richards, Sir Richie Richardson, Sir Curtley Ambrose, Sir Andy Roberts, Eldine Baptiste, Winston Benjamin, Kenneth Benjamin, Ridley Jacobs, Hamish Anthony, David Joseph, Sylvester Joseph, and other past and present players from the West Indies and England Cricket Teams.
