The PDM Presents The Concept Design for New Motor Sports Track for Montserrat on Land Already Approved by Cabinet

The PDM is aware that there is no proper home for motor sports; a leisure activity that many of Montserrat's youth enjoy partaking in.

The Motor sports enthusiasts here on island also participate in regional motor racing competitions and have done very well representing Montserrat.

PDM therefore have given recognition for these efforts, and to the request of the youth, for a purpose-built Motor Sports track. Thus, land has ALREADY been approved by Cabinet, as a first step to create a new purpose-built home for motor sports.

The PDM will work with the motor sports association, members and fans to make construction of a New Motor Sports Racetrack complete with starter/timer clock and safety measures a reality. See below the concept design for the motor sports track to be built in the Cork Hill/Foxes Bay Road area:
