On this week's Edition of The International Podcast; Conversations That Matter, Host Jeevan A. Robinson spoke with Rafael Medina from the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, based in Washington D. C, on the impact of the U.S Supreme Court on Communities of Colour.

The U.S Supreme Court has increasingly considered issues crucial to communities of colour —from healthcare access, to voting rights, to immigrant justice, like keeping DREAMers in the U. S. The Supreme Court matters, and now Senate Republicans are rushing through President Trump's nominee, Amy Coney Barrett, at the fastest pace in half a century.

The late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, whom Amy Coney-Barrett may potentially replace once stated; “Any woman will not do.” There are “some women who might be appointed who would not advance human rights.”

Today's Guest on The International Rafael Medina is of the view that Justice Ginsburg’s replacement must view herself as a champion of all, who must ensure the Supreme Court works for everyone. "She must deliver equal justice for all."
