In this era of global change, I reflect on the legacy of one of our greatest changemakers, the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. An advocate of economic justice, Dr. King sought to address inequities, from poverty to hunger to homelessness, that have been exacerbated in these last two years.
Dr. King believed in providing people with access to resources to uplift communities and change the direction of the nation. In reflection and message, the inaugural cohort of Accelerating Black Leadership and Entrepreneurship is living his legacy. These for-profit and nonprofit ventures are making an impact across the nation, powered by an enduring vision and the belief that positive change is possible. We are inspired and grateful to be a part of their journeys and invite you to learn more about their work.
