Grenadian Soca artiste, Brother B, has recently been nominated for a NAACP award. His nomination comes in light of recognition for his album 'Carnival Fever'; an album which previously received a nomination for 'Outstanding World Music' album.

Speaking of his nomination for the NAACP award, Brother B stated, "It is a great honour to be nominated at the 43rd NAACP Image Awards in Hollywood, USA. Coming from the wonderful Island of Grenada and creating music in the Soca arena, it is amazing that the music has reached so far and is accepted.

Brother B's 'Carnival Fever' album entails production by local Grenadian producers such as Jimmi King at King Beats Studios and Doggy Productions.

The 43rd NAACP awards will be shown on NBC on Friday, February 17, 2012. The awards honour outstanding people of Colour in Television, Music, Film and Literature.
