Legends are born after years of toil and dedication and as The Awesome Jam Band celebrates 30 years of continuous hits, we look back to where it all started and pay tribute to those great musical talents who over the years have helped to enrich the legacy of The Awesome Jam Band, making this group of musicians one of the premier Soca bands in the world.

Looking back, the path of The Awesome Jam Band has been filled with many triumphs and many testing periods. However, over a 30 year period, to have accomplished 21 Road March titles is an unmatched task throughout the history of Soca music in the Caribbean and globally.
It is the leadership and vision of our departed brother and one time musical leader, Nick Daddy Friday that led The Awesome Jam Band to heights that many bands only dream of. Daddy Friday was a powerhouse; he was a lyrical genius and a motivating force that kept Jam Band at the top of the pack for years on end. His passing was sad and untimely but as a group, The Awesome Jam Band sought solace in doing what Friday would have wished, keeping the fire burning for the fans despite his absence.
As Daddy Friday once said, Shout it loud and sing it clear, we love Jam Band!
