Locals, visitors, and creatives of all origins are invited to join the artists of Los Cabos at ABC Art Baja California. Running from March 10, 2023, to April 23, 2023, this cultural festival will spotlight the art and special projects of the Baja Peninsula at events in La Paz, San Jose, and Todos Santos.

“ABC Art Baja California is the culmination of the organizing efforts to really shine a light on the incredible artistic and creative wealth we have here in Los Cabos. This is a community-driven, community-focused that both celebrates and promotes our local talents, and we’re incredibly proud to be a part of it.” Said Rodrigo Esponda, Managing Director of Los Cabos Tourism Board.

The festival was initially created to showcase the art and culture of Baja California Sur and strengthen the feeling of community among its gallerists, photographers, designers, collectors, and artists. On this basis, ABC Art Baja California invites creators from all disciplines to participate in this festival's first edition. The festival will feature two main programs: “Lo Local” and “El Patio by ZⓈONAMACO”.

“Lo Local” will direct festival visitors and attendees to participating venues, spaces, and projects. “Lo Local” participants will include artists’ studios, hotels, galleries, music venues, restaurants, and other types of establishments located in La Paz, San Hose, and Todos. Featured spaces will offer exciting programming for the duration of the festival, with bespoke activities and activations including exhibits, special dinners, workshops, concerts, guided tours, cocktail sampling, and more.

“El Patio by ZⓈONAMACO” is a participating space of over 7,000 m² located in Santa Terra that will host a broad exhibition of sculptures, installations, and immersive art pieces all within an engaging outdoor landscape. The exhibited pieces - as selected by a curatorial committee - will be available for sale. “El Patio” will provide a platform for both local and international artists under the goal of bridging the creative traditions of Los Cabos with those of the wider world.
