The West Indies cricket team have claimed a rare series victory by winning their current series against Bangladesh.

Bangladesh were set a total of 508 for victory but were bowled out for 278. Darren Bravo and leg spinner Devendra Bishoo were the main contributors to the West Indies victory charge, with Bravo completing his maiden century and Bishoo grabbing 5-90. This is the first away series win for the Windies in over eight years, having last won away from home in 2003 against Zimbabwe.

Commenting on the victory, Captain Darren Sammy said, This feels good. We knew it was going to be difficult, but this was just reward due to the efforts from the guys and the coaching staff. The coach focuses on constant improvements, and we showed that in this series.
