#1: I would rather receive diamonds than chocolate on Valentine's Day (19%)
#2: I'm single and loving it (14%)
#3: I buy candy or flowers for myself on Valentine's Day (13%)
#4: I have proposed or been proposed to (or expect to) on Valentine's Day (11%)
#5: I'm going on a Tinder date on Valentine's Day (5%)

>> WOMEN ENJOY THE SINGLE LIFE MORE THAN MEN DO

Only 9% of women are single and actively searching for a boyfriend, compared to 20% of men who say they are single and want a girlfriend.

23% of single women would rather spend Valentine's Day with their pet than their romantic partner. Only 7% of single men say the same.

49% of Americans show their pet love on Valentine's Day by giving them a special treat. 12% of Americans include their pet in their Valentine's Day activities.
