University of Soca Band Release Their Massive Summer Single, WUK

The University of Soca Band have released their massive summer single, WUK. There has been much anticipation towards this track from the University of Soca, as with the quality of vocal and musical production, this is sure to be well received by both soca fans and music lovers in general

WUK is a collaboration of many talents to include production credits to by Dmitri Tuitt, also known as DJ Tula of 501 Productions, Montserrat, with additional bassline played by Roland Strokes Richards for UOS. Additional Keyboards by Trevor 'TC" Cassell. Lyrics of Wuk were written by Reinford "Kulcha Don' Gibbons for UOS, with Kulcha Don and Soca Deva, Jadine on vocals. Recording for the single was done at Alienz Studios, Stamford CT, with mixing conducted by Carol Hodge of OSHA Recordinng Studios, Brooklyn NY. University of Soca is managed by New York based management company, VICRAE INC.

The University of Soca Band is scheduled to make its first summer appearance in London, UK, on August 3rd in a big jam with the UK's Soca Frenzy Crew. Following that, the band will travel to Leicester, UK, in the midlands, to perform at their Carnival in the park event.

The band is also scheduled to make appearances in Boston, Toronto, New York and Miami later this year. They are currently recording their self-titled debut album scheduled to be released in September, 2012.
