Statement on Hurricane Irma's Impact on Haiti by Minister of Tourism Emilie Jessy Menos

The Caribbean island of Haiti was one of the islands brushed by Hurricane Irma recently.

A statement has been shared by that island's Minister of Tourism on the impact post Irma.

"In the wake of Hurricane Irma's devastating impact in the Caribbean, Haiti is thankful to have emerged unscathed.

In our shared spirit of community within the Caribbean, Haiti extends its hospitality, as well as any and all relief assistance, to all islands affected.

All services remain in operation and we continue to welcome visitors. Travellers are advised to contact their local travel agent or booking agent for detailed arrangements about their bookings."
