The city of shame opened its gate
With chin on chest she stood and wait
The act of making love is partaken by everyone
So why was it a disgrace being caught with this one
With patience of a photographer waiting for the right shot
Seeing that chink within his heart where others have not
She loved him like his skin was silk and his heart was gold
Offering her body without favor to make him whole

Invitation to her world felt right
It wasn't infatuation nor love at first sight
Daily her patience and charm left him guessing
Like walking in a cellar of aged scotch taste testing
Destination found when practicality overriding descent
Delivering a dream of wanting was a penny already spent
Her bosom was that caressing place where hearts collide
If mistaken and its infatuation he'll take that joyride

They're living in a house with his wife what a shame
Caught in that position she was not to blame
She wanted a duet but he commandeered a trio band
There copulation mistakenly was not a one night stand
To the wife she was his cousin, that reality changed real soon
Catching them writhing in ecstasy footprints on the moon
Tossing them and their belongings to the curb that was easy
The hurt that scum filled, the way it was done oh so sleazy
Unknowing and trusting is still feeling dumbfounded
Damn this damn house was crowded
