In late 2018, Vanessa was on her way to Miami to visit her sister and the following day, her sister unexpectedly passed away from a medication reaction. Following her sister’s death, Vanessa was in a deep depressive state. In order to heal, she took meditation classes which was a combination of breathwork, kundalini, reiki, mindset coaching, and repeating mantras in the morning and event. She soon began to heal and three months later, she earned her real estate license. She knew this was where she needed to be and her sister was going to guide her every step of the way. Prior to working for Jason and Brett at The Oppenheim Group, Vanessa worked at the luxury real estate company “The Agency” owned by Mauricio Umansky. Vanessa was brought into the Oppenheim Group because of her knowledge of Malibu real estate.
