There are general recommended session lengths for different types of massage:

  • Massage for medical indications, depending on the disease - from 20 to 90 minutes
  • Massage in the process of rehabilitation and recovery (after injury or illness) - from 60 to 90 minutes
  • Revitalizing and relaxing massage - from 30 to 120 minutes
  • Body shaping massage - from 45 to 90 minutes

Why the length of the session?

Usually 60 minutes is enough time to work out your entire body, especially if you have regular massages.

Some experts believe that massage has an accumulative effect, so it is possible to do 30-45 minutes, but over a longer period of time.
