Montserrat Utilities Limited is seeking to recruit a dynamic, results oriented Financial Controller to join its management team.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and coordination of company financial planning, debt financing, and budget management funct ions and ensuring that company accounting procedures conform to international financial reporting standards; in addition to managing the operation of the finance department and its associated funct ions and support ing the Managing Director and assisting in business processes to ensure the smooth operation of the financial operations and to liaise closely with other stakeholders.
Candidates should possess:
- A Masters Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience at a senior-level finance or accounting position
- Must have a professional account ing designation.
The successful candidate should have:
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles including International financial reporting standards.
- Knowledge of automated financial and account ing reporting systems.
- Knowledge of the financial regulations, including income tax and social security.
- The ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and project ions.
- Demonstrable knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis.
