The Government of Montserrat (GoM) today announced the launch of its Business Support Facility Fund.
According to information coming from the Office of the Premier, funds under this programme will be dispersed in the form of grants that will be awarded to deserving and innovative businesses on the island to assist in their start-up and development.
Furthermore, it has been announced that managers or owners of Innovative Small businesses desirous of accessing these funds, they should submit their business plans as a precondition for funding by Friday, 28th December, 2018 during the hours of 8:30am to 4:30 pm daily.
Businesses accessing the grant funding must be registered with the Financial services Commission.
Business Plan may be simple, but at a minimum must include:
• Identification of goods to be produced or service to be provided
• Identification and assessment of the market
• Marketing and advertising arrangements
• Pricing
• A simple budget showing funds required and use of funds over time
