Background:
Owen has a broad civil and commercial practice with a particular interest in all types of general civil litigation and insolvency. Owen regularly undertakes work in the County Court in fast track and multi track cases and often appears in the High Court.
In 2004 he was admitted to the High Court of Justice, Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court in Montserrat, West Indies after completing pupillage at a top commercial Chambers.
Owen regularly undertakes work for Landlord and tenants in commercial and residential property cases in matters involving rent arrears, injunction applications and hearings, disrepair, possession, unlawful eviction and forfeiture. Owen also undertakes a huge volume of work in anti social behaviour cases.
Before practising at the English Bar Owen worked as a Broadcaster/Journalist in the Caribbean, North America and Europe. He also worked at Hornsey Citizen Advice Bureau as a volunteer, and at the Office of the Official Receiver in Kent.

Interests:
Owen is a keen sportsman; he has represented his Country of birth Montserrat in cricket for many years in the Annual Leeward Islands cricket Tournament. He also played professionally for Hornchurch in the Essex Cricket League. Presently, he plays for the Bar Refreshers cricket team. Owen’s other hobbies include cooking, travelling, socialising and listening to all kinds of music.
