Champion Blogger

I don’t have time for this. I am not a journalist. I am not a professional blogger. Sometimes I don’t even like writing.
A month ago, I accepted my friend Ursula’s invitation to join the 30-day bloggers challenge for the month of August. I am sort of confused because August has 31 days. But I’m going to let it slip because this is just my 30th blog. So I must have missed a day somewhere (I am not planning on writing a 31st ). In fact you might have noticed the flurry of activity at the end to catch up.
When I started this thing, I had plans on declaring myself the winner because…well just because. But there is no prize so what’s the point?
First of all, thank you Ursula for the invitation. I had fun writing. It was a struggle at times coming up with things to say. But by challenging myself I put pen to paper and wrote an incredible load of gibberish. And low and behold, people actually read it.
I introduced people to a side of me they never knew existed. Theodorus Vittorio Emanuelle Semper was introduced to the world. I gave you a taste of where I am from and some of the things that make me tick. I do not take myself too seriously. That doesn’t mean that I don’t take life seriously.
I do care about this country that adopted me and I am extremely concerned about the turn that it has taken all because of deep-rooted hatred that would never be publicly admitted. You now know how I feel about the way my President is being treated.
I had a moment when I was spewing hate. It may or may not all have been in jest. I never get too personal. I don’t want too many people in my business so I am not going to put my own business on the street. I got blessed out for not mentioning a certain person. I’m not calling any names—the guilty must be protected and presumed innocent until proven otherwise. But my personal business stayed personal because it is none of your business. The good thing about a personal blog is that I can write whatever I want. I have complete editorial control. Ha!
It doesn’t even have to be true (everything I have written is the truth or can be proven to be truthful with conjecture, supposition, or unfounded assumptions.)
Anyway I did enjoy writing. I appreciated the comments. And it made me especially pleased that you actually read this mess I’m writing. I am encouraged to continue. I might even do so on a regular basis if I can squeeze it in between writingAnother Church Affair (working title).
So I am going to declare myself the winner of the 30-day blogging challenge. Thank you very much. I am going to throw myself a blogging celebration party. You are all invited.
A big shout out to the other participants in the challenge. I plan to read each and every one of your posts. (Sorry I missed a few.)
