Spoken Word: How Do I?
Category: Caribbean Woman Created on Monday, 07 May 2012 13:07

How do I forget all the times we have spent together?
The transition we took from love, to a change of loss in our gains,
In a way at least I can say we can hold those regrets of neglect together.
How do I forget the day we met each other?
That same day you were all shy not knowing
On my side I felt as though in your eyes, I saw love that tells a tale soo long
As if we had already met each other.
How do I forget those rainy days we played those chase games?
Kissing your soft lips under the rain, people called us insane
Those were happy days so the only insane thing is I wish god gave showers
That would wash away pain.
So how do I forget, let go, neglect any of the years or months spent
Yes I know all this trying to make you happy, doing what was suppose to be best
Try to teach each other respect was all wasted breath, and even now I'm probably wasting time
Getting rid of all this wieght up off my chest.
So I guess I will stay quiet try and reset my state of emotion, neglect my regrets
But either way I'm better than what you or your friends protest
So this is the last time your greed receives tears wiped from my vest.
