Can I be the one to promise to make sure you stay happy?
Because he took you for granted..
Can I be the one to promise to give you every moment as if it were a wish granted?

Because he didn't show you enough love...
Can I be the one to promise to stay by your side like two doves?
Because he didn't want you..
Can I be the one to promise to keep you until happiness does us part?

So for now could you promise to give me your heart if I promise to play the part of a man?
I understand I'm not what you planned but with no doubt
I can promise if you give me a chance I could persuade you to change your plans
With commitment so visible to your eyes with me putting a ring on your hand
