Nominations For International Reggae & World Music Awards

The nominees were announced on March 19th, and leading with 6 nominations is South African  female artiste Nkulee Dube, who became the first ever Non-Caribbean Artiste to have received so many nominations.

Tarrus Riley and Mavado each received 4 nominations , while The Marley brothers, Damian Stephen  and Ziggy along with Queen Ifrika, Third World, Fab 5 and Machel Montano all were nominees in 3 categories.

 

Reggae superstar Buju Banton has also nabbed 2 nominations, for Best Song,“Jah Army” a collaboration ” with Stephen and Damian Marley. Hissecond nomination is for Concert Of The Year for his historic Before the Dawn Concertwhich was held in Miami in January of 2011.
