Chaun Vernon On The Road To Being The Next R&B Sensation

Chaun Vernon is a singing talent that is especially unique. Cultivated in the deep harmonies of reggae and dancehall music, this young man of Jamaican parentage from Ft Lauderdale, Florida, blends his God given talent with what he learnt from the environment he was exposed to musically whilst growing up, and delivers an R&B sound like none you have heard previously.

Chaun tells MNI Alive that he was influenced by his Dad, Henry Vernon. Henry himself is an accomplished DJ and owner of reggae sound system, Sequence. Chaun began singing in the church choir at seven years old and over the years, as his talent developed he has been compared to mainstream acts such as Usher and R. Kelly. He explains to MNI Alive that his passion for song writing was actually inspired by listening to R. Kelly.

I recently had the opportunity to hear Chaun perform and from first hand account his talent is one that is obviously noticeable and renders anyone listening to demand an encore. Chaun truly can sing.

We caught up with Chaun whist he was recently in the Caribbean, and he gives us more of an inside view of his vast singing and song writing talent.
