Whether you have been recently diagnosed, or a friend or family member has, and you need support and help in making decisions, want to know what to expect, want to understand what someone is going through, or merely want to talk to someone who will listen
" Why Me " The Antigua and Barbuda Cancer Society is a nationwide community based voluntary organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy and service.

Become a Volunteer
"Why Me?" will only get its strength from its volunteer membership. By joining you are empowering your community and uniting with your neighbors in the fight against cancer. As we search for ways to enrich our lives, many are giving their personal time and skills to the community. Others are looking for new routes to personal and professional development. Individuals with special needs are becoming empowered to take charge of their lives and want a chance to contribute their energies to helping others. Advocate
Cancer isn't just a medical issue. It is also a psychological, social and economic issue. When our officials make decisions that affect the lives of cancer survivors, their families and potential cancer patients, the disease also becomes a political issue. That's why, "Why Me?" will work with our officials on every level to promote beneficial laws and policies that affect everyone touched by cancer. We've have a long way to go but your efforts will soon get us there.
