Dwayne Bravo Appointed West Indies A Team Captain

All rounder Dwayne Bravo has been appointed Captain of a powerful West Indies A Team to face Bangladesh A in the First Digicel Test.

The 12 man squad includes seven players with international experience. The squad also includes five players from the Sagicor High Performance Centre.

Recently selected West Indies all rounders, Jamaican Nkrumah Bonner and Barbadian Carlos Brathwaite will join Andre Russell, Nelon Pascal, Devon Thomas and Danza Hyatt along with Bravo as players who have represented the West Indies at the highest level.

Bravo, Russell and Pascal have all represented West Indies in Tests. The 28-year-old Bravo has appeared in 40 Tests, 117 One Day Internationals and 22 Twenty20 Internationals.

The first of the two Digicel ‘Tests’ in the series will be played at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground from November 5 to 8.

The Second Digicel ‘Test’ will be played at the Beausejour Cricket Ground from November 12 to 15.

The two sides will also face each other in two Digicel Twenty20s and three Digicel One Day matches.
