We are offering a chance for two members of the diaspora to win an all-inclusive carnival experience. The excitement starts from the Toronto Caribbean Carnival then your next stop is the Caribbean's Greatest Summer Festival – Antigua Carnival. Yes, it’s possible to do it all; we’re carnival hopping!

Two winners, plus two (2) friends each, will start the fun in Toronto then fly directly to Antigua and Barbuda for the ultimate experience. From August 2nd to August 7th, the package for each participant includes:

  • August 2 – Participation in Friday Night Mas' (Toronto Carnival)
  • August 3 – Backline costume with Toronto Revellers in the Butterfly Effect section, designed by Antigua and Barbuda’s Chandy Lewis, for Toronto Caribbean Carnival
  • August 4-7 – Return trip from Toronto to Antigua and Barbuda on WestJet
  • August 4-7 – All-inclusive 4 days and 3 nights at Jolly Beach Resort Antigua
  • August 4 – Ticket to attend Party Monarch (Antigua Carnival)
  • August 5 – J’ouvert Package Registration
  • August 5-6  Costume package for Antigua Carnival with one of three large bands

How to enter the contest

Post a creative video (60 seconds max.) on your Instagram account responding to the following:

  1. What is your connection to Antigua & Barbuda?
  2. Why is Antigua Carnival calling you?
  3. Are you ready to answer the call? Show or tell us how.

Video must be posted from May 8th to 22nd on your timeline. Be sure to use all the following hashtags: #CarnivalAhCall #YYZtoANU #AntiguaandBarbuda

Eligibility Criteria

Contestants must be:

  • 23 to 35 years of age
  • a Canadian Resident
  • of Antiguan and Barbudan heritage or ancestry
  • available to participate in all listed activities.

The winners will be announced at 8:00pm on May 25, 2024, at A Little Bit of Paradise, hosted by the Antigua & Barbuda Association of Toronto (ABTA).
